various body organs, Experimental physiology; Cellular functions; and
clinical applications. |
| Biochemistry |
Chemical natures, functions;
genetics; body fluids both normal and abnormal, molecular level knowledge,
latest hi-tech equipments and their use. |
| Community Medicine |
Community medicine plays a
major role in preventive measures of diseases and health hazards in the
Society. |

| Microbiology |
Study of microbes; viruses,
fungi etc. that cause diseases in human beings. It also enlightens on the
evidence based drug treatment on microbial diseases. |
| Pathology |
This branch of medical science
deals with morbid anatomy of deceased organs; microscopic changes that
follow a disease; detection of abnormal and cancerous cells etc. |
| Pharmacology |
Study of drugs and their origin,
including its nature, properties and effects on living organisms, it studies
and evaluates the drugs potential therapeutic value and throws light on the
discovery, composition, identification, biological / physiological effects
and uses of drugs. |
| Forensic Medicine |
The branch of medical science
that uses medical knowledge for legal purposes, to enhance credibility of
evidences. |
| Community Medicine |
Community Medicine plays a major
role in preventive measures of diseases and health hazards in the Society. |

A branch of medicine that deals
with the diseases, hygiene and health of women, reproductive physiology,
childbirth and care of the mother. |
| Paediatrics |
Deals with, child health in
general & exclusively deals with diseases affecting children and
adolescence. |
| Orthopedics |
Deals with diseases;
manifestations and treatment of muscular skeletal diseases. |
| Psychiatry |
Deals with mental health of
individuals and management of such patients. |

The students have the option to undergo
Internship in India after qualifying the Screening Test as per the provisions of
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 of
Medical Council of India.
