Vinayaka Missions University has
established its off-shore campus in the premises of Rangsit University,
Bangkok to offer Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) Program. This
program is approved and notified in the Gazette of India by the Ministry
of Human Resources Development, Government of India in concurrence with University Grants Commission (UGC) vide
their letter No.F.9-13/2005-U-3 dated October 10, 2006. |
Objective of the Program
To offer educational programs of International
Standard to prepare students to become competent medical professionals
with a holistic approach in a global environment. |
Highlights of the Program
- MBBS is an undergraduate degree in
medicine which enables one to register as a medical practitioner and to
pursue post graduate degrees in various fields of medicine.
Duration of study is 4½ years
followed by one year of internship.
The program follows the norms of
Medical Council of India.
The degree will be awarded by
Vinayaka Missions University Offshore Campus, Bangkok, Thailand.
The Indian students graduating in
this program will have to undergo a screening test as per the provisions
of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and the Screening Test Regulations,
2002 of Medical Council of India, to register as a medical practitioner
in India.
